Here at Activ8 we believe that it is important to begin a healthy routine from an early age in order to help you stay fit well into the future. With the NHS stating that children under the age of 18 should be exercising at least three times a week and the fact that roughly a third of under 15’s are obese now is the perfect time to start getting fit with an Under 16’s Activ8 membership.
Under 16’s can enjoy the gym facilities at any time when accompanied by an adult. There are also a number of sessions without an adult, so you can start your journey to fitness and socialise with your friends at the same time. Check out the sessions below:

To be eligible you need to be aged 11 – 16 and be in full time education.
Your Under 16’s membership gets you access to all 3 Activ8 Health & Fitness Clubs. After having your free induction you will be able to attend a selection of under 16 gym sessions and an unlimited amount of times when accompanied by a responsible adult aged 16+. All 3 gyms have state of the art equipment and our fitness advisors are always on hand to help if you are ever unsure on what to do in the gym.
As part of your membership with Activ8 you have unlimited access to public swimming sessions. Swimming is a fun low impact way to exercise. You can go with your friends and mix up your workouts to keep them interesting and give your fitness a real boost!
Remember there are 3 pools to go to so you will be spoilt for choice.
You can also attend a wide selection of fitness classes with your membership so come along with your friends for a workout. The fitness classes that you can attend as part of your membership include Spinning, Abs Blast, Bums and Tums as well as unlimited aqua classes including Aqua Fit, Aqua Zumba and Aqua Bootcamp.
