At Activ8, we pride ourselves on our customer service, and that starts with our exceptional team of personal trainers. We’re excited to introduce the newest member of our PT team: Dan Dryden.

We asked Dan a few quick questions to help you get to know him better. Here’s what he had to say:
What inspired you to become a personal trainer?
“To make lifestyle changes to clients, passing on my skills and experience which I use myself, and seeing the benefits and changes in clients’ overall lifestyle.”

What’s your training philosophy?
“All clients receive a tailored plan to meet their goals, utilising weights, cardio, and nutritional advice.”

Favourite type of workout to teach?
“I enjoy teaching all types of workouts, whether that be strength, HIIT, or plyometrics, as I use these regularly myself to enhance my sporting performance.”

Top advice for beginners?
“It’s a lifestyle change, not a quick fix.”

If you’ve ever felt stuck, unmotivated, or unsure where to start, personal training can be a great tool to get your started in the gym. Studies show that people who work with a PT are more likely to stay consistent, avoid injury, and hit their goals faster.
And Dan’s not our only PT, we’ve got a whole team of experienced personal trainers ready to help you level up, no matter where you’re starting from.
Whether you’re after a one-off session to get started or a full-on training plan, we’ve got flexible packages to suit your goals and schedule. You can train one-on-one, in small groups, or mix it up with classes and gym time.
