WE’RE READY AND WE’RE HERE FOR YOU!

It has been extremely quiet without you and we’ve missed seeing you all, but with restrictions easing we are excited for our members to kickstart their fitness and wellbeing journey with us again! We are in a position where we are ready to reopen our fitness clubs and are now eagerly awaiting the green light. We were disappointed to learn that we could not reopen on the 4th July but we are remaining optimistic for a July opening, therefore the information on this page is based on this and is subject to change.

We’ve loved reading all your positive comments on social media and know that many of you can’t wait to get back! We have created an extensive list of FAQs at the bottom of this page which should answer any of your questions about re-opening and returning to Activ8. 

WHAT’S CHANGED?

Due to the size and diversity of our venues, we are in the fortunate position unlike many fitness providers where we can maximise unused space to minimise disruption to our fitness programme. This has allowed us to add more live instructor-led and virtual classes to offset the minor programme changes  we have temporarily introduced in line with social distancing guidelines. We have also reviewed and extended the opening hours across our clubs and introduced a rolling booking system with visible capacities to spread gym usage out across the day.

All existing members will also be gifted an Activ8 mywellness wristband (usually £6) to enable fast and easy check-in on arrival. Find out how mywellness technology can help you to achieve your goals here.

NEW ONLINE BOOKING

For the time being all gym sessions and fitness classes must be booked online, in advance of your visit. We have introduced a new and improved booking system with a rolling 15 minute gym entry system to offer a lot more flexibility for members to train at a convenient time.

WHAT WE’RE DOING

We put people first and the health and safety of our members and venues teams remains our top priority. That’s why we’re adding even more safety and cleaning measures, so we can safely support everyone get back to enjoying their fitness once again.

ENHANCED CLEANING

✔️ Regular cleaning of all equipment by our gym and cleaning teams.
✔️ Cleaning stations located throughout each venue to wipe down equipment before and after use.
✔️ Increased staff hygiene training.

SAFETY MEASURES

✔️ Existing members will be gifted an Activ8 Mywellness band to enable fast and easy check-ins and minimise contact.
✔️ Closing non-essential areas including changing rooms and seating areas.
✔️ Removing all water cooling stations.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

✔️ Repositioning equipment and installing notices to follow social distancing guidelines.
✔️ Updated access guidelines to manage the flow of visitors in and out of the venues.

KEEPING EACH OTHER SAFE

At this time, community is more important than ever. You can help us and your fellow members stay safe and healthy by following these guidelines.

✔️ Stay at home and do not attend the gym or fitness classes if you’re feeling unwell.

✔️ We ask that you take personal responsibility for social distancing measures by following floor markings, avoid congregating on the gym floor and outside class studios, respect capacity rules and use only the equipment that is available.

✔️ Thoroughly wipe down all equipment before and after use, using the cleaning products provided.

✔️ Please respect our staff. They are here to help keep everyone stay safe.
