Tees Active Announce Partnership with HFE
Tees Active are proud to announce its partnership with leading UK fitness industry training provider, HFE, supporting the Trust with its ongoing education and training requirements.
As part of the Trust’s commitment to build active and healthy communities, HFE will support the Trust to upskill several leisure apprentices to become fully qualified fitness instructors of gym-based exercise. Once qualified, the instructors will join the expanding team to plan and delivery safe and effective exercise to gym users across Tees Active sites.
HFE will also be training our specialist Active Health referral team to expand their knowledge and skills via the level 3 exercise referral programme and Covid 19 – Recovery Course. Resulting in a highly skilled exercise referral team of advisors who will actively support individuals new to exercise within the community with long-term medical conditions or health concerns.
HFE is a leading learning provider to the health, fitness, and active leisure sector, delivering a wide-range of specialist fitness instructor qualifications and personal training courses. They have a portfolio of over 30 Ofqual qualifications and each year they support around 3,500 students to become qualified exercise professionals. HFE’s courses lead to Ofqual-regulated qualifications and are aligned with the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) Professional Standards.
