Aqua Fitness Classes

Come and join our friendly aqua fitness class community!

Aqua fitness classes are some of our most popular group fitness classes here at Activ8 Health & Fitness. They are fun, social and a great way to meet new people. There’s lots of benefits too! Not only will it help you lose weight and tone muscles, you will improve your health and your fitness without putting too much strain on your joints.

Aqua classes are perfect for all fitness levels and abilities as you can workout at your own level, without any pressure to push yourself too hard. This means that if you’re new to exercise, or just getting back into it, then you can gradually work harder each session. Each time you attend, you’ll be building up your stamina and, importantly, your confidence.

Water Confidence

You don’t necessarily need to be a great swimmer for most aqua classes and if you’re less confident, you can stand in slightly shallower water and stay closer to the edge of the pool. This means that if at any point you need a break you can step away, while you’re also less likely to get splashed if you’re not in the middle of the pool. Extra floats are also available to offer extra support.

Getting Started & Booking

Getting started with aqua is simple. All you need to bring along is suitable swimming attire and a bottle of water. All fitness classes must be booked online prior to your arrival at any of our clubs. Activ8 members can book up to 8 days in advance and non-members 7 days. To book click here.

Use the main pool and activity pool filters to find all of our great aqua fitness classes.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU CHECK IN FOR ALL YOUR BOOKED SESSIONS AT RECEPTION OR AT A CHECK IN POINT.

Members who fail to attend, fail to cancel at least 120 minutes before their session (from 15th April) or don’t check in for their sessions will have their account frozen with a 50p charge applied. The account will be frozen until this charge is paid.

Members can book fitness classes up to 8 days in advance. Non-members can book 7 days in advance.
