What do I need to do to get started?

  • If you haven’t already download the app from the links above.
  • Set up and review your profile in the Activ8 App or mywellness. Upload a photo and set your nickname (this name identifies you to our trainers and registers your details on the equipment).
  • Use the measure tool (ruler icon) to enter your personal details such as height and weight.
  • Have a full Body Composition Tanita assessment in one of our fitness clubs.
  • The easiest way to connect and track activity in the club is by using one of our Activ8 bands (these can be purchased at any of our fitness clubs for just £6. Plus you can gain quick and easy access by scanning into the clubs via our turnstiles). You can also scan the QR code in the app using a smart mobile phone.
  • Connect your devices from your heart rate monitor to other popular apps such as Fitbit, Strava and don’t forget we have Swimtag available in our swimming pools.
  • You can access your account to track results via the mywellness website here using your home computer/laptop, mobile, tablet or on site using our unity screens or equipment consoles or simply just check the results in your Activ8 App.

Having the correct personal information in the app will improve the accuracy of your results – Performance is measured in overall Lifestyle, Moves, kcal, and km’s.
