Spring into Fitness

Spring is a great time to recommit to your fitness goals and start fresh. As the weather gets warmer and the days get longer, it’s the perfect opportunity to get motivated and get active! Here are some tips to help you spring into fitness and make the most of this season.

  1. Set realistic goals: Before you start any fitness programme, it’s important to set realistic goals for yourself. Think about what you want to achieve and what steps you need to take to get there. Set small goals that are achievable and build up from there.
  2. Start slowly: It’s important to ease into any new fitness routine. Start with shorter workouts and gradually increase the duration and intensity as your body adjusts. This will help prevent injury and keep you motivated.
  3. Try something new: Spring is a great time to try new activities and mix up your routine. Book onto a fitness class, come along for a swim, try a range of racquet sports…..   4. Get a workout buddy: Having a workout buddy can make exercise more enjoyable and help keep you accountable. Find a friend or family member who shares your fitness goals and make a plan to exercise together regularly.
  5. Stay hydrated: As the weather gets warmer, it’s important to stay hydrated. Make sure you drink plenty of water before, during, and after your workouts to keep your body functioning properly.
  6. Get Outside: To compliment your fitness activities within our fitness clubs spring is a great time to get outside too. Whether it is going for a short walk or a long like, running or cycling, the fresh air always makes you feel better.
