It is with great excitement that we can finally share with you the details of the planned investment in Activ8 Health and Fitness. The developments will be carried out in three phases and you can expect to see big changes across all of our clubs.
Our valued members are the heart and soul of Activ8, and we want to ensure that you have a pleasant and rewarding experience each and every time you visit. From the staff you meet to the equipment you use, it is our core aim to help you achieve your health and wellbeing goals in a welcoming and friendly environment, where our members come first, always.
As a charitable leisure trust, any profits are reinvested back into our facilities and services to continually develop and refresh our offer to you. The new investment will include a major renewal of our current equipment provision through the continued partnership with industry leaders Technogym® and will introduce several pieces of kit that cannot be found together anywhere in the North East, comprising of Technogym’s cutting edge SKILL™ range, TEAMBEATS™ heart-rate training and bespoke functional rigs.
We will also be introducing wearable technology for the first time with Technogym’s mywellness® app, which will enable you to scan a piece of kit and watch a short video demonstration, log each workout and begin measuring results to improve your performance. This will be a fantastic tool that our fitness advisors can also access to work alongside you to create a tailored exercise programme and book regular appointments to review progress and set new goals.
